Force account
billed off the right rate book.

The rate in force on that date, by make and model, with the edition recorded next to the number.

The problem

Equipment on force account in Ontario is billed from the OPSS rate book. Rate books get reissued, codes get reassigned, and the number on the invoice is often from whichever edition somebody had on hand.

The difference shows up months later, in a dispute nobody has time for.

What we build

A system that carries the rate book, so the rate attached to a machine is the one in force on that date, by make and model, with the edition recorded next to the number. The supervisor picks the machine he has in front of him; the system knows what the book calls it.

What changes

Equipment hours stop living on a paper timesheet and the invoice stops depending on who typed it. When the owner's representative asks which edition and which code, the answer is already on the record.

Ontario, specifically

OPSS is a provincial standard, so this is built for the rate book your contracts reference, not for a generic equipment list.

Bring one force account invoice.

We will check it against the rate book in force and show you what a system would have caught.
